My Updates

Tour de Walkshire goes to Snowdon

Monday 31st May
Completed my 100 miles of walking during the month of May to raise money for Yorkshire Cancer Research by climbing Snowdon on Sunday. It was a beautiful day and a fantastic way to end the month!

Team walk!

Monday 10th May
We managed to squeeze in a Marketing and Communications team walk today. So lovely to see everyone face to face after such a long time only meeting on MS Teams and we added another 3.5 miles to our totals as we climbed up and down Crow Hill near Sowerby Bridge.

Training begins

Friday 16th Apr
I'm really looking forward to taking part in the Tour De Walkshire next month. Walking has played such a big part of me managing my physical and mental health during the pandemic. I'm hoping to walk at least 100 miles during the month and it's great to have a target to aim for.

Here's a snap taken on yesterday's walk at the end of the working day. It's taken on Long Edge Moor near Hubberton. Fingers crossed for more dry and sunny weather for May!

Well done on the walk David, sounds like you smashed it and for a great cause too.
