These terms and conditions apply to the Leeds United Play on Pitch Raffle 2022

Promoter: Yorkshire Cancer Research, a registered charity in England and Wales (Registered Charity 516898).


Terms and Conditions

Entering the Raffle

  • Tickets are not to be sold to, sold by, or bought on behalf of anyone under 18 years of age. Any tickets bought by or on behalf of somebody under the age of 18 will be rejected from the draw and the money returned to them. All attendees at the event must be aged 18 or over.
  • Yorkshire Cancer Research raffles are open to residents of mainland Great Britain only (this excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands).
  • Agencies or other companies that have any connection with the production of the Raffle are unable to enter the raffle. The named license holder is also ineligible to enter, as are employees of Leeds United.
  • Participation in this raffle costs £3 per raffle ticket. The maximum number of tickets purchasable is sixteen (£48).
  • Raffle number(s) will be confirmed by email within 1 day.
  • Raffle tickets will be entered into the draw when the whole payment is received.
  • Yorkshire Cancer Research accepts no responsibility for any technical failure or event which may cause the competition to be disrupted or corrupted. Yorkshire Cancer Research accepts no responsibility if chosen method of payment is cancelled in error.
  • Any raffle ticket monies received after the closing date will be treated as a donation to Yorkshire Cancer Research and the tickets will not be entered into the draw.
  • Yorkshire Cancer Research cannot claim Gift Aid on raffle ticket monies, but Gift Aid can be claimed on donations.
  • Yorkshire Cancer Research reserves the right to disqualify any entry at their absolute discretion.
  • Monies raised by the raffle will go towards the general work of Yorkshire Cancer Research.


The Raffle Draw

  • The opening date for the raffle is 19 April 2022 and the raffle will close on 2 May 2022. The winners will be contacted on 3 May 2022.
  • There are ten prizes to be won.
  • Each prize is: You and a chosen guest to attend Elland Road on 23 May 2022 from 9.30am – 1pm to take part in a:
    • Warm-up and penalty shootout on the pitch – this will last for 50 minutes
    • Stadium tour
    • Leeds Legends Q&A, featuring Dom Matteo
    • Buffet lunch in the Billy Bremner Suite
  • The prize winners will be randomly selected using a random number generator. The draw result will be published on the raffle web page on 3 May 2022.
  • Winners will be notified by the email given at time of purchase.
  • The result of the raffle draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
  • If any of the prizes remain unclaimed by noon on 10 May 2022, the unclaimed prize winners will be redrawn randomly and offered to a new winner. This will repeat on 17 May 2022 if there are remaining unclaimed prizes.


Responsible gambling

Self Exclusion

On request we will put a block on supporters’ records to exclude themselves from our raffle mailings. This block will remain unless we are asked by the individual to remove it. If you would like to be excluded from future Yorkshire Cancer Research raffles please contact events@ycr.org.uk.
