Terms and conditions: LUFC ticket raffle

These terms and conditions apply to the VIP Leeds United Ticket Raffle 2021.

Promoter: Yorkshire Cancer Research, a registered charity in England and Wales (Registered Charity 516898). The VIP Leeds United Ticket Raffle is a small society lottery.

Terms and Conditions

Entering the Raffle

  • Tickets are not to be sold to, sold by, or bought on behalf of anyone under 18 years of age. Any tickets bought by or on behalf of somebody under the age of 18 will be rejected from the draw and the money returned to them.
  • Yorkshire Cancer Research raffles are open to residents of mainland Great Britain only (this excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands).
  • Agencies or other companies that have any connection with the production of the Raffle are unable to enter the raffle. The named license holder is also ineligible to enter, as are employees of Leeds United.
  • Participation in this raffle costs £3 per raffle ticket. The maximum number of tickets that can be purchased by one person is sixteen (£48).
  • Raffle ticket number(s) will be confirmed by email within 1 day.
  • Raffle tickets will be entered into the draw when the whole payment is received.
  • Yorkshire Cancer Research accepts no responsibility for any technical failure or event which may cause the competition to be disrupted or corrupted. Yorkshire Cancer Research accepts no responsibility if chosen method of payment is cancelled in error.
  • Any raffle ticket monies received after the closing date will be treated as a donation to Yorkshire Cancer Research and the tickets will not be entered into the draw.
  • Yorkshire Cancer Research cannot claim Gift Aid on raffle ticket monies, but Gift Aid can be claimed on donations.
  • Yorkshire Cancer Research reserves the right to disqualify any entry at their absolute discretion.
  • Monies raised by the raffle will go towards the general work of Yorkshire Cancer Research.

The Raffle Draw

  • The opening date for the raffle is 30 November 2021 and the raffle will close on 13 December 2021. The winners will be contacted on 14 December 2021.
  • The prizes are: Two sets of hospitality tickets to Leeds v Aston Villa on 28 December 2021. There are four tickets in total, two will be allocated to each winner.
  • The prize winners will be randomly selected using a random number generator. The draw result will be published on the raffle web page on 14 December 2021.
  • Winners will be notified by the email given at time of purchase.
  • The result of the raffle draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
  • If the prize remains unclaimed for 7 days, the raffle winner will be redrawn randomly and offered to a new winner.

Responsible gambling

  • Self Exclusion: On request we will put a block on supporters’ records to exclude themselves from our raffle mailings. This block will remain unless we are asked by the individual to remove it. If you would like to be excluded from future Yorkshire Cancer Research raffles please contact events@ycr.org.uk.
