Frequently asked questions

What is Christmas Moments?

add_circle_outline remove_circle_outline

Christmas Moments is part of the Yorkshire Cancer Research’s 2025 Christmas Fundraising Appeal - ‘For more Christmases together’.

Christmas is a time for celebration, for being together, but also for reflection. Thanks to life-saving research, more people with cancer are spending Christmas with their loved ones, but we know this isn’t possible for everyone.

By taking part in Christmas Moments, you can celebrate someone who has recovered from cancer, thank someone who has shown their support, recognise someone having cancer treatment, or remember someone who is sadly no longer with us.

How do I get involved?

You can get involved by making a dedication to someone special this Christmas. Simply upload a photo and a message about why you have chosen this special person. Your photo and message don’t need to be Christmas-related.

Your dedication will then appear on the Christmas Moments online gallery.

Does my dedication need to be Christmas-related?

Your dedication does not need to be Christmas-related. The photo of your special person can be from any time of year and the content of your written message celebrating that person is entirely up to you.

When can I get involved?
