Let's 35,000 miles in May

We Walk for Yorkshire is a walking challenge for anyone who wants to keep active and help save lives in Yorkshire.

"The challenge is accessible for everyone. You can decide what a challenge is to you and set your own targets."

Christel Thompson 'We Walker' 2024 and 2025

Walking to fund life-saving cancer research

Each year, 35,000 people in Yorkshire are told they have cancer. Together, we can walk to help save lives in this region.

This May, we’re walking 35,000 miles to fund life-saving cancer research. Sign up, get your T-shirt and enjoy Yorkshire’s great outdoors.

Let's walk for new and better ways to prevent, detect and treat cancer. Let's walk for the people who need them now and for those who will benefit in the future.

Every step counts, so let’s walk Yorkshire together.
