Of Mice and Miles Walk for Yorkshire 2026

We are Of Mice and Miles, a team of wonderful women and English teachers who share a love of Literature and making a difference! This May we are stepping beyond the classroom and joining people across Yorkshire who are coming together to raise money for vital research that will help save lives in Yorkshire.

35,000 people in Yorkshire are told they have cancer each year. People are more likely to be diagnosed with cancer in Yorkshire than in many other parts of England and, tragically, too many people die.

This May, we would like to help change this, by taking part in We Walk for Yorkshire to raise money for Yorkshire Cancer Research. Thanks to supporters, the charity funds vital research and pioneers innovative new services for people with cancer.

This charity is close to all our hearts and we have seen firsthand the impact cancer has on individuals, families and communities. That's why we have chosen to combine miles with meaning as we work to raise vital funds. 

Through every step we take, we hope to make a real impact. Every donation, whatever the amount, is extremely appreciated and will contribute to life saving research right here in Yorkshire.
