Follow the Baton for Yorkshire journey
Researchers, people with cancer and charity supporters are taking part in a Yorkshire-wide baton relay as part of this year’s We Walk for Yorkshire challenge.
Throughout May, the Baton for Yorkshire will travel through 35 locations across the region to recognise the 35,000 people diagnosed with cancer in Yorkshire each year.
From Yorkshire's historic cities and rural market towns to the scenic coast and the iconic Dales, baton-bearers are passing the baton from person to person - each united by a shared commitment to help save lives in the region, and beyond.
