We Walk for Yorkshire 2025
This May I'm joining people across Yorkshire who are coming together to raise money for vital research that will help save lives in Yorkshire.
I aim to walk a total of 527,000 steps across the month of May. Why this number? Well, this equates to an average of 17,000 steps a day and every 17 minutes, someone in Yorkshire is told they have cancer.Â
People are more likely to be diagnosed with cancer in Yorkshire than in most other parts of England and this May, I would like to help change this.Â
I hope you will join me in getting out in the fresh air and enjoying our beautiful Yorkshire countryside. Every step counts and every pound I am able to raise will help save lives in Yorkshire.
